Works well in my sea reef aquarium. I used to buy more expensive coals and they became too expensive. This product contains dust but washes off easily before adding it to the tank and appears to be working well. I have nothing to add other than that it works and if you are concerned about how 'regular' charcoal might react in a reef aquarium, that's fine!
