I've finally found a heater that either works or is what I need. I have a Pacu who is 21 years old. Needless to say, he is quite large and resides in a large aquarium. I bought the highest wattage they had to warm up my tank properly, which they did, and in just a couple of hours. I had previously bought several heaters which I thought were good quality but they soon stopped working or he broke them. This heater has a housing that prevents fish from touching it and it's so easy to regulate the temperature outside the tank. Very happy with this product
