Review on Socket Shelf: 8 Port Surge Protector Wall Outlet with Shelf, 6 Outlet Extenders, 2 USB Charging Ports - ETL Listed by Drew Diaz

This is a really great socket to add to your frequently used wall socket. Personally, I plugged it into the bathroom wall outlet because I always use that outlet (toothbrush, hair dryer, hair styling tools, phone charger, etc.). Having multiple ports means you can connect multiple devices at the same time, which is really useful. I also like USB plugs so you don't use plugs with extra power adapters. Also, the small shelf at the top is great for storing your phone or small items that you just need to keep off the counter/floor. I would also like to use it next to the table or in the kitchen. The base has a long screw in the middle that you can use to attach to the base, but this screw doesn't fit any of our bases so I'm not sure how useful that can be. I do like the idea of screwing it in because the bulk of this wall box allows it to slide out of the wall a bit and I would have really preferred it to be pressed firmly against the box and against the wall. It didn't really cause any problems though, it's just that I'd rather it be so I'd give it 5 stars if the density were corrected. Until I have an exhaust port that the center screw aligns with, I guess that will just be my burden. However, think it's worth having.
