Review on ๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ ASUS P3B Portable LED Projector with Speakers - 800 Lumens, WXGA (1280x800) Resolution, HDMI VGA Wireless Connectivity, 12000mAh Battery (Up to 3 Hours), Media Player, Remote Control, 2-Year Warranty by Bronson Hussain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I did a lot of research and had great qualifications. this one went upstairs.

Before I got to the device itself, the company that sells the device, Galactics, went through the normal PERFECT service that I receive from Revain. I usually try to buy things made by Revain just to guarantee a well-packaged, working product (to increase my chances). The galaxy has moved on and on. Not only the delivery was fast (ordered Monday evening, received Tuesday). Which I'm assuming because we're both in Georgia, but it was packaged perfectly and I could tell it had been handled with care. Device. Spring. It took me several days to find the perfect projector. I had so many things I wanted: 1) Battery powered 2) Computer resolution (at least 768 horizontal) 3) Short throw 4) Audio out 5) Multiple inputs 6) Bright enough What I got was something much more. This instrument is small and compact and comes with a nice carrying case. While the menu system leaves a lot to be desired, it's very functional and offers some great features. I had a spare WiFi key lying around, pocketed it and found myself connecting to it in an unexpected way. For our children's home schooling, this has now become an electronic whiteboard at a fraction of the cost. I could connect a PLEX to it using an old Android tablet without an adapter. I will be looking for an AirPlay adapter to connect my iPhone to it soon. The sound is actually much better than I expected. It won't fuel the backyard movie night, but it will fill the conference room. Speaking of movie night in the backyard. that was the main reason for this (and that's why I was able to stop borrowing a projector from my friend). We sleep a lot and go to the backyard for movie night. So far, preparing for a movie night has been a royal agony, and the things we had to pack for camping were enough to make us think twice (yes, we camp tech-free, but sometimes it's nice to shoot a movie with the seeing family under the stars when ghost stories are over). This greatly simplified the situation. With our Revain Tap we bring this, Tap, a cable and an Epson screen (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004OBYYWG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_67), we have everything we need carried by one and can be set up less than a minute. Yes. Battery life has not been fully tested. When camping we usually take a portable battery pack to charge things, we have adapters for charging if needed. So far we've been able to watch a full-length movie (about 2 hours) and play a few video games on the Xbox One, and the battery indicator shows a half-full charge. I suspect the bottom half drains quicker, but it gave us about 135 minutes of full power reading before we turned it off and it still had power. I'll test it out one night when we're camping in the backyard so I know what to expect when I travel with it. I like that it can be installed. Buy a small mini tripod, you will need it. They rate it at 800 lumens. I don't have the equipment to test this, but I run multiple projectors both below and above this rating between work, church, and home. This is by far the BRIGHTEST battery powered projector ever. I have had or used at least 7. That was one of my requirements: it should be bright enough that you don't have to turn off the light when using it. All the lights are on in my conference room, this thing is a jewel, everyone can see everything and at such a high native resolution (for a portable projector) the words were clear. The only complaint is with the menu system. This is not very user friendly. The guide is good for getting started, but the full guide can be downloaded from the projector or viewed on the projector if you prefer. I am very happy with this purchase, very satisfied. This will bring many benefits.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • There are some hiccups

5 stars. Wish I'd waited to write a review. Would buy the Asus projector again in a heartbeat.

I researched a great deal, and had steep qualifiers... this one rose to the top.
