Not Durable: Athletic Socks

I have been buying SmartWool socks for many years and they last for years. I have changed about 10 pairs of SmartWool socks and the models have proven to be very durable. Signs of aging showed after just a few washes. The diamond pattern is knotted and worn and one of the socks has already started to thin on the side near the big toe. I'm disappointed.
