These socks are not only light, but also very short. Not comfortable. I would have sent them back but I didn't realize how short they were until I put them on and washed them.

These socks are great. In a pinch, I can wear them for two or three days without worrying about smell. comfortable, good quality, classy.

I wear dress socks once or twice a year. All my everyday socks are made of wool. Wearing my old cotton socks reminded me how much I hate cotton. In comparison, this is a big step forward in terms of comfort. Runs true to size and I'm glad my socks have some color.

I love Smartwool, I live in a hot climate but I need formal socks. Your feet will feel comfortable in them all day long. Light padding helps cushion my feet. They can be worn for days without worrying about odors, wool naturally repels odors. You look great even for a young man. Argyle never gets old!

I have been buying SmartWool socks for many years and they last for years. I have changed about 10 pairs of SmartWool socks and the models have proven to be very durable. Signs of aging showed after just a few washes. The diamond pattern is knotted and worn and one of the socks has already started to thin on the side near the big toe. I'm disappointed.

Lightweight, light enough to feel breathable in hot weather. At the end of the working day there is still a feeling of tension in the legs. So far it has held up well through washing/drying (have had it for a few months now) with no shrinking or tearing.

I've also worn them hiking dusty, muddy trails and sand, and the socks are woven so well that the dirt and sand don't reach my feet. If they weren't $20 a pair I would buy a few more.
