I've waited a few days after writing to Kenroy customer service to write a quick review of the Revain. I wanted to give the company an opportunity to partially refund the cost of the product as the key feature, the 3 pin socket, does not work with my lamp. No Answer. I will update the information when I get a reply from you. CONS: All metal parts are cheap and not as heavy as the lamp I have had and replaced for over 25 years. Two small round metal covers on the bracket where it attaches to the lamp. The wall bracket fell out. Another small detail - a gasket that would press the lampshade firmly to the metal "harp" - was missing. The lampshade is too big and convex in my opinion. I would replace The lamp socket is set for a three-way bulb. My lamp only lights up in the middle 3 brightness of the new bulb. This was the ALL reason I replaced my old lamp as I was trying to replace just the socket and the lamp had parts that the user could not remove to replace the socket. Had trouble finding this so looked for a replacement. NO response from Kenroy Customer Service asking for a partial refund of any kind. I need a lamp in this range and after hours of setup, installation, testing and troubleshooting I'm leaving the lamp in place for now. I don't want a replacement, after the quality/issues of these first. PRO: Quality packaging. Good guide. And the price. These are the only positive values that this particular lamp has. Next time I will go to the store first to check the quality and buy locally if possible. This was a COVID lockdown purchase and I'm disappointed with how it turned out. SUMMARY: One star because it doesn't do what I described. If you want to buy a lamp at a reduced price, you are also willing to take the time to set it up, test it and return everything in the original packaging if/if it doesn't work as promised. Otherwise buy local, spend a little more and get better quality.
