Kenroy Home 30130PB Nathaniel Polished Review

Bought two to replace an old fixture that no longer works, they had to match. Easy to cover up old holes in the wall. It appears to be a study for a bedroom where they move around a lot. I immediately bought three Revain LED lamps. The combination is excellent. Brighter at level 2 than the old 100w fluorescent that I replaced. Will be ordering another pair for our guest room. Installation was easy so never read the instructions.

These lamps are great! They are exactly as described and pictured on Revain. They arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. We bought a pair for the guest bedroom in our Florida condo. They leave more space on the side tables for our guests to have room for a book, phone or whatever. This is a great buy for the price. Unlike many others, they have fabric (not paper) lampshades, beautiful finishes and cord covers. Definitely recommend!

The lamp part is not too difficult to assemble. However, the brass cap for the cord was too difficult to align. The piece of metal that had to be nailed to the wall was so difficult to straighten that I finally gave up. The brass rods that run over the metal part don't fit that easily. I ended up having to try hammering it into the metal part but it didn't work. I have a lot of holes in the wall that I have to fill and paint. I love the lamp that matches my four poster bed.

I bought two of these lamps for my bedroom - over the headboard. I love to read in bed and I need light that I can direct where it's needed and still look good. These lamps meet the requirements. The swing arms work well, not too tight and not too loose. The lampshade complements my decor, while the light brass armrests and back plates add a "jewelry" touch. Defective harp part. Frustrated and upset after struggling for an hour to install a lightbulb and vacuum up broken glass! The first GE 3-way bulb broke in my hand because it couldn't be screwed in properly. The next two 100 watt bulbs I tried were also difficult. I had to remove the lamp from the wall and take out the harp to carefully screw the bulb in again and again. UPDATE 12/13/2020: Higher rating because the customer support was extremely responsive. They immediately answered my question,

Installation was pretty easy even for a newbie like me. Just read the instructions, measure and use a level when placing 2 (e.g. on each side of the bed like we did). One thing that baffled me about the installation was that there was a small screw in the middle of the wall plate/bracket that prevented the wall plate/bracket from sitting flat against the wall. I tried a lot but in the end just removing the middle screw that I could see didn't do anything and the lamp brackets lay nice and even…

I've waited a few days after writing to Kenroy customer service to write a quick review of the Revain. I wanted to give the company an opportunity to partially refund the cost of the product as the key feature, the 3 pin socket, does not work with my lamp. No Answer.
