It works well with my 2018 13 inch Macbook Pro. It frees up space on my desk, elevates the monitor to a more comfortable height, and helps cool the computer by allowing air to flow freely under the case. I use an external Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with my laptop, so I can't really comment on what it's like to type on a stand. But who would do that, amirite? :P
