When I first bought this wand, I was amazed by its features. I first bought it for intimate use and was amazed at its power. Before I go too far in this review, I should mention that I've never used the Hitachi Magic Wand, so I can't compare it to this one. However, I can compare it to the cheap, battery-powered, handheld muscle massagers you can buy at Walmart and conclude that this is a much better buy. Let's start by saying that this wand coped with its task perfectly. . I finished in five minutes, which amazed me as I've had a lot of trouble finishing in the past. I've been using it for two weeks. About a week later I started having problems with some functions. I mean I pressed the middle button and nothing happened. The setting changes, but there is no vibration. I then had to go through 20 vibration patterns to get back to one that actually worked and I found that many of them were very random in their ability to work. A few days later, the flexible head began to have problems. I don't know how it happened but I wasn't using the device much and the vibration level dropped to the lowest level when I was touched. I pulled on it and it turned back weakly. Less than two days later, the motor stopped working and if I shake the device slightly, I hear a slight rattling. I am disappointed as I had high hopes for this vibrator. I should have just spent the extra $10 on the Shibari Mini Halo. Let's hope it's better.
