Review on Tara Sartoria Handmade Pillowcase Couture Grade by Emily Waffles

This is the only silk pillowcase I've found at Revain, handcrafted with French stitching for durability. I also like the fact that it's made from premium 27 mum mulberry silk. I've read that mom's undersides seem brittle and not that durable. It arrived yesterday. It was everything I expected and more! The color is even more beautiful than I expected and I don't think I've ever touched such a luxurious material! Cool and incredibly soft to the touch. It looks very well made, nice and tidy both inside and out, a sure sign of quality workmanship. I had no idea it was so hard to choose a silk pillowcase. There are so many on Amazon! I ended up doing a lot of research and looking at so many pillowcases because I needed a quality real silk pillowcase at a reasonable price. I will use it at night, I need something well made with quality material. I wanted a pillowcase with French seams because I've read many reviews of other pillowcases where people complained about pillowcases coming apart at the seams. I knew I needed a French stitch to avoid this because the stitches are double stitched. I also didn't want a zippered pillowcase because apparently the zipper can either break or tear the silk. I don't want to wake up with a flash on my face either. I slept on it last night and it was great! It's like sleeping on a cloud. The envelope closure is fantastic! He kept my pillow in the cover all night, even though I tossed and turned in my sleep. At over 11 inches, it's almost three times deeper than other pillowcases I've looked at and it makes a world of difference. I am very happy with my purchase. I think I'll buy another one so when one wears out I can use the other one because I don't think I'll be able to sleep on my cotton pillowcase again. Maybe I'll take a black one for the trip too. Oh, I forgot to mention that the pillowcase comes in a beautiful silk pouch. It is very convenient for travel. I think I will use it to store my jewelry too.
