Bought to test wall speaker cable before adding a high power amplifier and this multimeter did exactly what I needed. I recommend!

I've paid more for inferior DMMs in the past. It has solid leads, decent build quality and chassis. The screen is crisp, the backlight is good, and I like the wake button feature. The only complaint is that the batteries are difficult to change, no big deal.

Small enough to carry around, accurate and works very well with the IC. Doesn't load the circuit like the old counters. Easy to read LCD display. I like it. I've used VTVMs (vacuum tubes) in the past, so for the power user this is a good choice at a low price.

According to my father, this device performs better than expected as a cheaper model. (I don't know much about this product so I'll just take his word for it!) It works great. I also like the case it comes in. I tested it with batteries and a phone charger while plugged into the wall. You can check your phone chargers to see how much power they put out. You can also use it to test a car battery. You can also test all your batteries. This type of counter comes in handy when you least expect it!

The switch on this multimeter is incredibly finicky and won't hold the position. For example, if you try to set the switch to 20 VDC, the counter will fluctuate between 0.0 l and 0.00, indicating that the switch itself is defective. It looks very cheaply made and now the relaunch window closed a few days ago. Do not buy cheap tools that cannot be replaced. Excellent multimeter. I have reviewed many of them from different providers and chose this one because I think it is the best. First, the dial for selecting the test you want to take is clear, simple and straightforward. Many others are too simple, leaving you wanting a more sensitive test. Others are overly complicated and unless you are an electrician you may not understand them. The light function is great! This way you can see results in all conditions.
