Excellent multimeter. I have reviewed many of them from different providers and chose this one because I think it is the best. First, the dial for selecting the test you want to take is clear, simple and straightforward. Many others are too simple, leaving you wanting a more sensitive test. Others are overly complicated and unless you are an electrician you may not understand them. The light function is great! This way you can see results in all conditions. My first Radio Shack multimeter still worked, but the LCD had gone dark, making it almost unreadable; it was not backlit. The instruction manual is well written, informative and very complete. After all, this is a Cat III multimeter. This means it offers a much wider margin of safety when testing circuits than Category II meters (including most meters in this price range). All in all a great multimeter at a great price!
