Fantastic - but read my info and tips.

These things are obviously the common answer to Mr. Magic Eraser. Clean, great I would say amazing. But there are some things that are useful to know. The main thing is that they don't use any cleaning products - not at all! Their cleaning power is based on micro abrasions - like foam products with very small bubbles (I feel good hahaha) and very small cleaning elements. This allows them to penetrate very fine dirt, dirt and stains that traditional scrubbers can't handle. You shouldn't eat them, but they don't contain anything toxic that you could be exposed to. The material is melamine, a durable plastic that was discovered during WWII and then became ubiquitous as dinner plates, tea/coffee cups, etc. I remember growing up well. Some people went insane when they found out that formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of melamine. Do not worry. Table salt is made from elemental (pure) sodium + chlorine gas in its pure form, safe as salt. So, NO, no chemical problems. You will wet the sponge but then squeeze out most of the water so that it is damp but not wet - this is very important. It's not for mopping, it's for cleaning, and it's great for many surfaces, including pretty much anything in your kitchen and bathroom. Do not use them on wallpaper or any other place where the surface could come off. If you're worried about the finish, test it in a small spot where you can't see it. But it's so good that when my husband is making red Crystal Lite or jelly and some of it always lands on our old counter and leaves a stain, all I have to do is use one of these sponges in a circular motion, and spot gone. However, they don't last forever and will thin out or even start leaving small pieces - be careful that small pieces don't go down the drain. I use the new one in the kitchen until it starts to wear out, then use it for other purposes - great for floor stains - then throw it away when it's no longer good. If it's still usable in the kitchen/bathroom but starts to leave tiny particles, then wipe it off with a cloth or regular sponge.
