If I had read the reviews on this product before buying it I probably would not have bought it. BUT I'm so glad I did, no. I believe that the bad reviews on this paper holder are mostly due to user error during assembly. If you have never assembled furniture from chipboard, you may encounter problems that others complain about. When you assemble it you have to be very careful with the dowels and small nails that go into the back. If you drive the nails too close to the edge, you will end up with a blister on the side of the chipboard where the nail will push out. I found this product extremely easy to assemble and had no problems with protruding nails once assembled. I love this paper holder and am so happy I bought 2 for myself and if I needed another one I would buy it again. It does exactly what it was intended for. Each section holds about an inch and a half of paper and looks great with laminate paneling. Bought the gray version.
