Disappointment! well suited for letter trays and piles

Dividers/shelves in that crap. I placed a medium amount of paper on top and two of them bent just enough to get out of the slots they fit into on each side of the inside of the box. If those dividers were a bit wider or made of a stronger material, maybe they wouldn't slide out. I'm really disappointed with it.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Dowels too long for letter trays and stacking stands

I ordered this tray for our telephone books at our desk. Assembling it wasn't as easy as I would have liked. The pins are too long and if you're not careful you'll walk right through them. The back of the shelf is just a piece of cardboard that I almost threw away thinking it was part of the packaging. All in all, it does what I needed it for, but it's under $42.

  • Comfortable

  • Almost never

This is good, but impossible to assemble properly.

It stinks. You have to assemble it, and that's fine, but it's impossible to assemble it properly without ruining some surfaces. The pins provided do not go deep enough into the holes, so when you attach the next part, they pierce the surface. NOT worth nearly $40. And I bought two of them. JUK!

Poor quality: Letter trays and stack supports

When assembling, exactly according to the instructions, pushed through three dowels on the other side of the machine. There are now three huge dents where the dowels punctured the tree. The dowels supplied are obviously too long. I made almost no effort to move the device together. It is impossible for the dowels to go through the wood. Plus, once everything is assembled, it's completely wobbly. Terrible quality. Waste of $42.

built with defects Office and school supplies

looks great looking at the picture from Amazon. Made from fiberboard. only covered on one side. the back is exposed. Slots for pressed paper. and support. The holes for the top weren't drilled properly causing the glued pins to pop out of the top. I used a soft rubber mallet. Hammer not recommended. I would buy it again but this looks more like a $19 product than a $45 product. and since it is nailed and glued I have to buy a box to return it. .so there's $5 and my time to take it to the…

Difficult to assemble

I bought these shelves because I was looking for shelves/trays with lots of narrow slots as I needed to separate a lot of documents. It was very difficult to find something that suited my needs, but they were perfect in terms of size and number of slots. The downside is that it is very difficult to assemble. The concept is simple, you just really have to hit it with a hammer as the pins won't go into the holes that easily. But you also have to be careful when hitting with a hammer, as the outer

I believe this product does exactly what it was designed to do

If I had read the reviews on this product before buying it I probably would not have bought it. BUT I'm so glad I did, no. I believe that the bad reviews on this paper holder are mostly due to user error during assembly. If you have never assembled furniture from chipboard, you may encounter problems that others complain about. When you assemble it you have to be very careful with the dowels and small nails that go into the back. If you drive the nails too close to the edge, you will end up…

I like it but I can't adjust the front shelves.

PROS - Likes less vertical spacing between shelves so you can place/see more items at once and have more shelves in a small space - Likes that it's fully enclosed - it looks a lot tidier than before. Stack individual shelves and you can put other items on them. - Very durable. - Can be used vertically or horizontally and stacked easily. - Easy to assemble. Less than 5 minutes. No tools are needed, except maybe a rubber mallet. minuses. You cannot customize/remove/add shelves from the front…

If someone gave me another one, I would give it back.

If the dividers are inserted from the back they will remain permanent as they cannot be inserted from the front. The dividers are made of thin cardboard, a little thicker than a box of nasal wipes! It is not recommended to use the entire pack of paper on a shelf. I'll keep the rest in the closet and put 1/3 of the rest in the slot (if using new paper). I use 20# plain white paper, photo paper (for printing family photos), 24# resume paper (I make resumes for friends and family), I print…
