Review on 🐱 Cat Mate Inc 210 Glass and Screen Door by Sabrina Jones

I wanted to add a cat door to my sliding door for a recently closed small patio. I bought it after reading all the reviews, comparing others etc. I have followed the suggestions of other reviewers not to cut the template they provided etc. First let me say that the product itself is of high quality and works well. Second, it really shouldn't be sold for mounting on screen stock. The cat door is quite heavy and thick. After adding side washers and tape and moving it down to utilize the bottom of the screen door for stability, I got it working. kind. One of the features of this door is a very STRONG magnet that keeps it closed. If you have cats who aren't used to hard plastic swing doors, this isn't a beginner's door. One of my cats got her paw stuck in the door. It took forever and lots of interesting tools to remove a VERY strong magnet. Unfortunately, our cats still get their paws stuck in doors, so keep away from the swinging door. You now have a piece of fabric over the hole. *sigh* I share all of this because if you are trying to do something nice for your indoor cats that never go outside, that have never used a cat door in their life, this is not the door. I give 4 stars because this door is very well made for proper application and suitable cats or small dogs and works great in any weather.
