I would like to trade my Dell laptop with integrated devices for an eMeet Jupiter to simplify the more popular WFH (Work from Home) system: - Performance evaluation: eMeet vs. DellWebCam Video: 8.5/10 with free eMeetLink software (Dell 5.5/10) Speakers: 9.0/10 (Dell 5.0/10) Microphone: 8.5/10 (Dell 4.0/10) Pros: Easy to use, just plug and play. Compact size for an all-in-one device Free eMeetLink software provides useful (choice: adjust) image parameter adjustments according to various user settings (resolution/white balance/angle/exposure….) VERY good sound quality, clear, airy and reasonable Volume comes with Smart AI Focus which I like for group video chats with family/friends and I can switch to manual setting for business conferences. Works with popular software such as Zoom and Skype. The Jupiter holder is very flexible and well-designed, it can also be mounted on a tripod to accommodate different angles and positions. Cons: Some user preference changes in eMeetLink (e.g. permission) require a "pin back to reactivate" which is a bit annoying. The video quality (e.g. noise reduction) in "low light conditions" is not impressive, which is understandable in relation to the sensor size and price. eMeet Jupiter is an all-in-one HD camcorder with high-quality speakers and noise-cancelling microphone, it's comfortable, reliable and powerful. Setup is easy, and it's a great upgrade to a laptop's built-in devices and well worth the extra investment.
