You can read this before buying. That's a great case! It goes very well with our Ecolution pots. Yes, this is a universal lid, but people don't seem to realize that this is a universal lid for Ecolution pots, not all pots. Perhaps the seller should clarify for those who missed it in the description. The rubber coating/silicone border on the edge makes sense with these pans and fits exactly. If you're looking for a generic lid for other brands, it may not be the one for you and that doesn't mean it should be ranked lower! This is a lovely addition to those wonderful pans!
