Make sure you connect the cable at 220 volts
I just installed this hob, it was very easy. The old hob was stiff so I fitted a three pin 240 volt plug. It took about 15 minutes to complete the installation. I like that the controls weren't knobs and lay flat to the side. The hob heats up instantly and the controls are great, be sure to read the instructions. If anything happens later, I'll get back to let everyone know.
