This is more on the lightweight side, so it's fine for warding off a chill in a meeting at work or wearing on a mildly cool fall day. I was hoping for something a little thicker to handle chillier weather or to bundle up in while watching TV in the evening.Think of it more as a fashion accessory than as a substitute for a jacket. I got the taupe and that color goes with anything.Since I'm fairly busty, I should have opted for a larger size to have it reach across in the front. The sleeves are long enough that you can scrunch them up, unless you want them to substitute as gloves as well. My arms are a normal length and the sleeves came well down on my hands.
