Not as "advertised "
The bin lids don't even snap open let alone seal as one would expect to store any type of food. Decent quality containers but should not be recommended for storing perishable food. However, I use mine to store the dry rice and noodles we use to make pet food (a few random bugs won't hurt) and it's working well so far. FYI: Several people have asked how much they keep. About 3/4 to 7/8 of a 50 pound bag of dry white rice fits in a container. They are a lot smaller than they appear in the photos - at least for me.
