It took me a while to set it up to my liking but once it's set up I really like being able to remotely connect to the cameras throughout the day to view packages, pets and to check possessions. As someone who worries about this all the time, he literally helped me sleep better at night knowing I could check my surroundings at any time of the day. With six cameras recording in motion, I get about four weeks of footage. Not bad for all the snowdrift records they make. The system is very easy to use and does not require much knowledge to operate. Playback is flawless and the motion sensor can be set to record a few seconds after motion is detected. There are also settings for motion sensitivity and privacy zones. There are some settings that you cannot change with the Reolink app for Windows 10. You need to set up your monitor temporarily to change them and update the firmware. After making the changes, I now boot the device without a screen and just connect to the reolink app on Windows. I would like to point out that the Reolink app works on Android, but when I put the phone to sleep on my Samsung S5, I have to exit and restart the Reolink software to resume camera viewing. When drilling holes for the camera's cables, I used a 3/4" bit and inserted the RJ45 end first, followed by the power switch and DC jack. tightly packed around the cable to prevent insects from entering. So far I've recommended this to several friends and family and every time they say wow it's clear!
