The canister's three electrical pin connections were noticeably looser than the old canister, almost too loose a feeling when I replaced the canister. The canister lasted less than a day before the red "Service" light on the humidifier came on. When I removed the new canister I used the micrometer on two large electrical poles on the old and new canister. The old one was .105" and the new .099", so the new canister has smaller electrical contacts; hence the loose contacts and probably the cause of the red service light.
