The construction is very solid and it works when you plug it in.

The design is very solid, works when you plug it in and don't touch or even shake the plug, but as soon as you move the plug it stops working. I ordered two units for use at a live event, but both units worked exactly as advertised on every walkie-talkie I've owned. but in order to insert the plug into the socket, you have to make a lot of effort.
