Review on πŸͺ Unleash Your Towing Powers with Monster Hooks MH-4 Tow Hook in Titanium Black by Charles Long

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It might seem like a joke item, but it really works.

The price was / is minus. but it's the right niche, it's a good tool. I just bought one to see if it would fit two of my trucks that I use to hoist the winch out of the ground. I bought it as a real instrument. I have some big 4 inch straps that I use to tie my trucks when I'm towing tree stumps and big overgrown clumps that have really turned into trees. It fits perfectly on one of my receivers. My front receiver is in one of my trucks, the end of the shaft is a bit long and can't align the pin holes (knock off a sprocket). Hate it, but gotta bring a saw. I really want a 2 for another truck. Large hooks make it quick and easy to attach a loop of wide webbing to this attachment point. are PIAs with larger/heavier weight recovery straps if your gross vehicle weight rating allows the use of larger straps of 4 inches or more. The smaller 2-inch straps for Jeeps and SUVs work great with the regular buckles that people in malls attach to the bumpers of their tracked vehicles. from a 75 foot row of overgrown, giant rootballs/rootplates of shrubs turned into trees. Held the winch in place with my 2nd truck using this hook on the back of the first and my normal clevis insert shank in front of the anchor carriage. When I needed to move the winch and reattach the anchor cable it was quick and easy with huge hook. The hook's smooth, rounded surfaces fit snugly into the belt loop. NEVER USE THE HITCH BALL AS AN ANCHORING POINT! It is not designed for this type of load. Use the correct devices and anchor points.
