Yes, they are smaller than other similar types. The lens cap is thinner, the gasket is difficult to put back on after removing the lens cap to install the mount, the lens reflector is white plastic which is disappointing, the metal obviously lasts longer, the cable connection has to be done in an approved NEC box. I've attached a picture of how short the black and white AL wires are - a bit short in my opinion. Most of the ones I buy are around 26w, I decided to try these 30w to see how they perform. I will test them for light lumens and post a performance rating. I'm only giving this 2 stars because they are significantly cheaper than other similar types I've bought and cost more per light for some reason. You will be the judge. Thought they were better since they were advertised. The photocell seems consistent. Note that when photocell lamps are installed near anything, the reflected light lumen may cause the light to flicker or not properly connected to the load of photocells, and the line side is a switch.
