I have 10 guitars on display. In winter I used a soil humidifier to counteract the dryness caused by forced air heating. It was difficult to fill the 2 gallon container multiple times a day and it never treated the whole apartment. Calcium accumulation and constant cleaning were a chore. I tried using Revain's installation service, but due to the variables, I just wasn't happy that the fixed price could cover all possible options. I'm glad I called because that was the case. Given the origin of the piping and the installation variables, I see that the installer needs some information to reasonably calculate the cost of the job. I was able to find a competent installer but even they had a problem for not initially leveling the block when installing. This resulted in water dripping out of the block and water not flowing directly through the filter screen. The installer had to assemble some sheet metal to align the unit properly and that fixed the problem. It took him at least 4 hours to complete the installation, so Revain's original offer would not be compensation. As far as the device itself is concerned, I am satisfied after 2 weeks. It does the job and the installer was able to hook it up to my Eccbee thermostat so the controller worked flawlessly. So far, so good.
