The product works overall as advertised but required significant modifications to (1) assemble it and (2) make it ergonomic. This is a product most likely created by engineers who were C students in college. The product idea and price are great, but the finish and design are poor. About Assembling - The instructions are quite simple and include the tools you need to assemble. The problem I had was installing VESA plates on the back of my monitors. I have three Dell P2217H monitors and the screws provided by Mount-It are too long for the bottom two screw holes. The end of the screw will start to press on the inside of the monitor. I had to cut off the ends of the screws to attach and hold the Vesa mounts. As for the design - the mount - you really need to hire someone who has at least given some thought to ergonomics and anthropometry. The "typical" monitor stand height range for an ergonomic posture is 22-28 inches (please consult the scientific literature for distance distributions and confidence intervals). There is enough research to determine the correct length for the main mounting post. The 18.5" mounting bar is too short.
