PRO: very easy to use; efficient mill. CONS: The device is lightweight, making it difficult to line up the cable with its notch. This results in the grinder not standing upright unless you use two hands and are careful. Not so hot what's up. A more significant downside is that the lid has a series of indentations that collect powder, making it difficult to clean. If what you are grinding has oil in it, even with a toothpick it can be almost impossible to clean it completely. Finally, and this was a real test for me, the cap doesn't fit properly. When grinding, the powder is poured into the gap between the lid and the coffee grinder body. It also accumulates on the body's "ledge" and is subsequently spilled onto the work surface when the cap is removed. I bought this device to grind dried very hot chillies into powder to avoid "contaminating" my regular spice grinder. Super hot chilli dust in the air and on the counter is no fun. Returned on credit. I'd rather spend a few bucks more and get the one with the best design.
