Bought for use on a laser cutter
I have seen many people use them on cheap Chinese laser cutters (engravers) to adjust the power to extend the life of the laser tube since the machine is capable of self-destruct if you expend a lot of energy. It was easy to install and works great. With my machine (50w CO2 laser) I was told not to run it above 20mA and with this meter I can be sure it will be less and my tube should last longer.
