Before I bought this I read several one or two star reviews that some people reported air leaks when installing the adapter, probably due to cheap or non-existent sealant. So before I added my adapter or tested the enclosure with the subwoofer inside, I liberally sealed the internal joints and between the enclosure and the input jack with clear silicone caulk. I let it dry for about 2 hours and finally installed the subwoofer. Of course, when I tested it, there were no air leaks. If you're worried about build quality, I definitely won't. The material used can properly reproduce high quality bass frequencies and ideally you should always seal the case before use to ensure you don't leave a bad review on the case. It would be nice to get a properly sealed box, but it's fairly cheap and quick to seal a cheap, sturdy case like this to ensure you have quality sound. Hooray!
