Won't stay in place and taking it off would be a nightmare

Tried them on my Ducati Scrambler. Absolutely awful. The installation, functionality and eventual uninstallation, which you have to perform is a disaster. The friction system that holds the ends of the handlebars where the mirrors attach just doesn't work. The collets are too big for the rod so you'll have to put the big one in and then good luck "To get them out again. Which you need to do, because the mirrors themselves are absolutely not going to stay in place, no matter how much effort you put into tightening all the screws. It's just a poorly designed system. They vibrate with every ride. The outer Screw that prevents the mirror from rotating fell off due to normal bike operation and vibration during the second en drive out, rendering this mirror unusable. The ends of the rod continued to loosen, tipping the bit mirror back and forth. Then I realized there was no way it would work and tried removing the ends of the rod to get it back. loosen regardless of whether you unscrew the end screw or how much force you use. I tried a slide hammer, hitting the open edge of the bar end with the hammer, heating up. Nothing. It required unscrewing it completely, sawing through the collets with a hacksaw, and tapping the sides to bend them slightly so they were loose enough to then pull them out. mirror for 6 weeks and eventually it was over when I finally got them out (with help). Now I'm out of money as the return period has expired and these stupid things are stuck in the bike and I can't physically get the parts to return. Please save yourself the nightmares and look elsewhere.
