Review on πŸ”₯ Breville PolyScience Control Freak Induction Cooking System with Temperature Control by Jason Olguin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great, use it every day as your main cooking tool. You can use some tweaks to make cleaning easier.

I like the precise temperature control, good construction, induction heating. I like it, I use it every day. What I don't like: 1) Rubber ball for attaching the temperature sensor to the tank wall. Some of the curved pot lids I plan to use were difficult to install, sometimes even with slowly lifting the probe while looking away. Difficult to use and set up. I ended up replacing it with a lab stand and clamp. 2) You will inevitably have splashes and spills. There is a groove or seam around the top panel and around the control panel. I cover the panel with cling film (which I change regularly) so I don't have to clean anything that gets caught in the groove around the panel. This solution doesn't work for the whole hob, I have a hard time cleaning the seam after a spill.
