Never got it to work - PC connection (tried 2 different computers both with Windows 10 installed) was unpredictable and firmware install failed every time. Finally gave up after 2 days of trying because I don't trust my cryptocurrency to any device that isn't totally secure. I chose the Ledger Nano S instead. UPDATE 7/27: It finally worked by plugging it directly into a USB 3.1 port on my motherboard (the back of the computer) - everything worked right away and perfectly. The software is very sophisticated and the device is easier to use than the Ledger (no apps!). I will post another update after using it for some time. UPDATE 8/1: I've trained the Trezor extensively and I have to say I really like it. It's very easy to use and always makes a secure connection (DO NOT use a USB hub as mentioned above - your computer's front panel can use an internal hub, so if you have a desktop computer use one of the USB hubs ). Rear panel connectors: They are located on the motherboard itself). Entering a PIN code on the touchscreen is quick and easy, although sometimes I use my thumb to press the wrong number because the screen is small. A nice security feature is that the device changes the position of the numbers each time, so no one can guess your PIN by looking at your fingerprints on the screen, making it harder for people looking over their shoulder to guess what you type. . The wallet software runs best in Chrome, which supports WebUSB. It's very easy to use and there's smart Dropbox integration so you can tag your transactions and addresses if you want. (They want it, I promise.) My only complaint about the wallet software is that it doesn't directly support Ethereum/Ether. Trezor itself does this, but you have to use another wallet software (MyEtherWallet), which is nowhere near as easy as the Trezor developers say. Rumor has it they are working on adding Ethereum support to the Trezor wallet software, but until then I'll be using my Ledger Nano S for Ethereum transactions. When using a hardware wallet like Trezor, you need to be aware that if something happens to the wallet (lost, stolen, destroyed, etc.), you'll have access to your funds again. Before sending money to my Trezor, I deleted it and then recreated it using the recovery seed that is generated when the device is initialized for the first time. It worked great. I bought Billfodl to keep my Recovery Seed safe and I recommend it or something similar to keep your own Recovery Seed safe. Finally, if something happens to your wallet, you can use a seed to restore it; but if you lose your Recovery Seed or someone steals it, your money is gone. tl;dr - 5-star device, minus 1 star for not supporting Ethereum in the Trezor wallet software.
