I bought it back in March 2017 after looking for a decent gigabit router to replace my old router. As soon as I took it out of the box to plug it in and set it up, it refused to connect to the internet. So I started the process over, I realized I had done something wrong. And again he refused to connect to the internet. So I called customer service to walk me through the setup process, but even they couldn't connect. After spending over an hour on the phone talking to the tech and his lead tech, they finally got it working. (That's where I found out that a D-Link rep had just wired up the problem instead of fixing it.) So a month goes by and it's working with no problems. Then, partly in the second month, the router starts responding again and refuses to connect to the internet, so I reboot the router and it's working again (a week), so I have to reboot it again. After three months and rebooting at least twice a week, I'm tired of this router's poor performance. It usually feels warm to the touch, but I didn't think I worked hard because I only connected -3 devices to it. I don't know how to get a refund as I'm out of warranty and at this rate the router will probably fail soon.
