These neoprene socks were the perfect addition to my island trekking pack. Crossing icy rivers barefoot or in sandals is uninteresting and unsafe. I paired these neoprene socks with a pair of water boots and have been solid on every river crossing. I stood quietly in the river for about 5 minutes. The large size was perfect for my height 11-11.5ft and they were low enough to fit right into my shoes. Incredibly comfortable. I bought 2 pairs and my nephew was also happy with his 10.5ft height. He used his socks alone to cross the river and he succeeded. Highly recommended.
