Very easy install, looks good, protects door well from wind

Of all the reviews I've done this is one of the easiest to write. I used lined stone to hold up a door that tends to slam in the wind but of course it hurt so when I saw it on Revain it was easy. The installation took only three minutes. I simply attached the template provided to the door and touched the floor - the template is shown in the first photo - used a razor blade to mark the three screw locations, then used a screwdriver to secure the doorstop with the three self tapping screws install provided. (My door is a heavy old wooden door from 1941, and I still haven't had to pre-drill any holes.) Nothing else is in there. The up and down mechanism works perfectly, as in the video. The only potential downside is that on smooth floors like linoleum, the doorstop, while not really marketed as a security feature, doesn't completely prevent the door from moving. It doesn't move in strong winds, but if I press hard on the other side of the door, I can move the door. I'm assuming (?) that this doesn't apply to carpeted floors. By the way, it says it was made in Korea. Anyway the design and construction is well designed, easy to install, looks good, works well and most of all it's a pleasure to have in place!
