I'm quite an intelligent person, competent, with good knowledge of life. But even with clearly stated sizes, I have a hard time imagining the overall size of some things, especially ovals. It doesn't help that the images of clear glass pots/baking pans always appear deeper or smaller than they really are. For some reason I expected it to be smaller, couldn't think of a use for it and didn't want to buy it. I ended up doing it because I just liked how it looked. Look at my first sentence and feel free to laugh out loud. Also know that I've been cooking for over 50 years and need another casserole like I need a pogo stick. I'm sure it's perfect for something and I'll find a place for it if I ever put it away. I love everything about this product: the shape and design, the tint of the glass, the fact that it's Arcuisine. I like to see it on the table. I'll probably keep it for dessert when dessert looks particularly appealing in a clear glass. Cheesecake with berries, berry cobblers. Green fruit salad for two. Homemade chicken salad with half a bunch of grapes and sweet cranberries, on individual green beds. It must be time to eat - I have fantasies about food. I wish I had the ingredients for one of these right now.
