I currently use these for my workstation. The computer uses a GeForce 980 Ti which I need for development, but the monitors don't need amazing graphics (I have VR for that) so I went with older 1080p monitors because they were cheap and functional. The problem I had was that none of the ports for the monitor were compatible with the new graphics card, but this worked great. As a side note, I would suggest getting 10ft instead of 6ft. I have a set of two 6ft monitors and although it does fit it fits really well and might cause me problems when I finally get to mount the monitor. Will definitely buy this when I have my third monitor and a mount just to be on the safe side.
