I originally bought this case for my 15" MBP because I needed a no-frills, slim case with room for an external HD+ charger. It holds up great and allows me to fit my laptop in my backpack that doesn't have a built in laptop compartment. It's a padded case, so if you have something small and pointy in your bag, it might put pressure on the screen. The only thing that could improve it for me would be a stronger plastic backing in the accessory pouch to separate the storage pouch from the main computer pouch and disperse the uneven pressure of small accessories. To get around this, I just store the laptop upside down down so the accessory is against the back of the computer. Carrying a lot of small items in your pocket and carrying them on your back can damage the screen with enough pressure. I bike to work quite a bit and have never had an issue, but I could imagine it. If you need a case to protect against dirt and scratches, this is a great choice that will last for several years or with frequent use .
