I just LOVE these pens. I bought these for myself and my daughter to add to our Prismacolor collection. We were both skeptical but they sold for $25 so I took a chance and I'm glad I did! They are very smooth and you don't have to press hard to get a vibrant color. They're a little thicker than Prismacolor, as is lead, but very good. The only drawback is that the tips break easily when sharpened, but that doesn't reduce performance for me and isn't a big disadvantage. In addition, a small coloring book with very beautiful, detailed pictures. The notebook has nice thick paper. It also comes with 4 sharpeners and 2 pencil extenders which are a brilliant much needed tool to extend the life of your pencils. Extensions also work with Prismacolor pens, the first we tried. Will definitely be buying another set soon and highly recommend these pens! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced artist/painting enthusiast, you will not be disappointed.
