When I first used the hook I was lifting a sort of fence that had grown in the ground. Plugged it in and started pulling, he came out immediately to unhook and the spring edge was all bent and hanging, no idea why it got so ripped apart by a little tug then it's just cheaply done well hooked on the fence. so I could move and hook a little more fence I wanted to grab it and the keeper fell out on his own with a small pin holding the hook to the cord. Thank god I wasn't trapped in a mud pit in the middle of the woods. It costs $11 and that's the product you get, not a bargain
