Not much smell in household products

So I didn't buy them to soften my clothes. I use tea towels as a mouse repellent in our RV and other items we store over the winter. I don't go to the store often and when I do I forget to buy tea towels as we don't use them for washing but have balls of yarn. I was disappointed in the lack of smell. After a few weeks, afraid of getting mice, I went out and bought "Bounce" sheets. They can make your clothes very soft I don't know but they don't smell as strong as I need them to.
