First the color. I chose pink so no one in the house would be tempted to use my gloves. And I love pink! Second fit. Very comfortable to wear. Third, painless. No matter how hard I hit the bag, my hands/ankles don't hurt. I started with the bag with my bare hands and quickly realized that it hurt! I accidentally used my daughter's karate bag and didn't want to invest in a pair of gloves, but after a few sessions I realized my hands would appreciate the extra padding. I didn't know much about gloves so I went with a brand I was familiar with (Everlast) and was very happy with my purchase. I also appreciate the large Velcro straps around the wrists. They're large enough to be grabbed with the opposing glove (note the thumb is connected so you're somewhat restricted when grabbing the Velcro) or grabbed with the teeth (which feels like a real boxer's move anyway feels!). I was very happy with it.
