Continue reading. -- Bought to attach my helmet to my sport bike. Its length is just long enough to fit through the hole in the helmet and through the passenger footpeg mount. What I don't like is that 1) the keys that came with the kit have to be pushed in. Maybe it will get better with time. 2) Even with the key turned, you must unplug the cord from the outlet. Because the cable is flexible, pulling it like a normal lock will not open it. So you have to hold the key open (it's spring-loaded to return to the locked position), hold the base of the lock itself to prevent twisting, and then use a third hand (note the sarcasm) to unhook the cable. It's harder than it looks, and it's kind of a pain trying to look cool with your cool ride. The opening side is also not labeled or otherwise marked compared to the non-opening side, giving you the added problem of guessing which side to pull each time you open it. I put the elastic on the open side so I can see and feel (when it's dark) which side to pull on. The only thing I like about it is that it is small and easy to take with you and that it can be locked without a key, just like a regular padlock. I'm not sure I would buy this again.
