Used it on a 4 day hike with a group of 20 to take out the rubbish. Installation took just a minute the first time. I particularly like that it has a lid that separates the bag from the lid. It's 100% plastic, so you don't have to weatherproof it if it rains on your hike (unfortunately, sometimes your hike does rain). It's tilted as other commenters mention, but to be honest I'd rather it was light as it's constructed on top of something heavy just to keep it from tipping over with lopsided debris or a strong gust of wind. The light weight also made it easy to move around the camp. When filling up, I found that the legs flex enough to pull the bag through sideways, but at worst you can detach the top if needed (never happened to me). I used our prep table to support the back of an empty trash can to keep it from tipping over. The 13 gallon trash bags worked very well with this trash can. Quickly and easily disassembled and ready for our next hike. Now you don't have to remove garbage bags from the bumper of a caravan, faucet or other weird spots in the campsite that nobody can find.
