This was the first time I've actually used gel nail polish and although I was fine I had a lot of fun on a 'manicure' day with my girls. There are so many colors in this set that we can paint our nails for quite a while. I bought this nail polish that removes the gel but we also used a cotton swab with remover and then wrapped the tips in foil. Each of them worked when it came to removing polish. My daughter added some glitter and it made her even more vibrant. You will need an LED lamp to dry the polish for it to last. However, it seemed to almost dry up within seconds. If you apply 2-3 layers, it dries a little longer under the lamp. However, I love that this set comes with 2 types of top coats, gloss and matte. We have tested both and love each one.
