I bought a 2020 Samsung monitor to use primarily with a Macbook with USB-C ports and with an additional Macbook with older USB and HDMI ports. This monitor has connections for a Displayport and HDMI as well as USB-C, so I used the picture-in-picture feature to connect both Macs at the same time and split the monitor window into two parts. Very nice! Issues: The USB-C cable that came with the monitor is heavy and short. When I connected my Mac via USB-C, it looked great at first. A few days later when I was moving my Macbook, the monitor started flickering. Now the monitor _mostly_ doesn't work well with the cable. I've tried using the monitor with an Apple USB-C cable as well as a couple of Anker cables (which work fine with every other device I have). The only USB-C cable that even seems compatible with this Samsung monitor is the one that originally came with the monitor, which leads me to think it's a custom cable. I had no issues with the HDMI connection and when both the HDMI and USB-C connection cables work the picture is very good and the picture-in-picture feature is great for those who use multiple computers at all times must use the day. But if you really rely on a USB-C connection, there are real problems.
