Money back Mixed feelings

I ended up sending it back for a refund, not a replacement. In general, I am disappointed with the quality of the monitor. Attached are two photos of my problem, dead pixels. The first is a pixel that turned red after a few weeks of use. The second is the pixel that stays black and has always been there. They're not the only ones either, but the ones I notice every day and annoy me. All in all, the price of this monitor, being a business monitor (meaning I look at it for hours every day) means it shouldn't be. You'll either put up with these things and not notice them, or they'll become a nuisance. That annoyed me. If you do something with a dark background, you'll see a red pixel. Do something with a lighter background and get a dark one. When the price dropped I ordered it despite the negative reviews. I ordered from Revain and read Revain's return policy etc. so I use Revain. Moving on, the monitor turned out to be heavier than I thought it would be, forcing me to reconsider my mounting and hardware (more on that later). I have a 27 inch Samsung which is a lot thinner and a lot lighter but doesn't curve (that's not a downvote, it's above). The picture was good except for dead pixels. has become excellent. Now when I use my flat 27 inch screen it literally looks like it's curved backwards. My other issues with the monitor are the stand, gosh that thing is big, takes up so much desk space, literally half of mine (it's 24 inches deep) and puts the monitor right in front of your face (others have noticed this). took up so much space that I had to look for an alternative way to mount it. I originally considered wall mounting it but wasn't close enough to the stud and it's too heavy to tape into the drywall alone (my 27" isn't too heavy for this, you can literally use double sided mounting tape , if you want to). So I have an adjustable stand that attaches to the table. I have a glass top table so I had to make a special wooden mount but it worked. I'll also add that in its original state, this thing wobbles endlessly, making it literally unusable as is. When you type, the monitor shakes, you hit the table with a chair, your elbow, etc. and so on everywhere. Daily video conferencing made this unacceptable as I mounted a webcam on a monitor. When I had Hangouts, you could see the screen shaking on the video. I also had to buy a new power cord for this as the cord that came with it was the wrong way round. The part that goes into the wall is bent 90 degrees and doesn't fit my extension cord (too many other plugs) and I was only able to plug it into the outlet with the cord up and not down (three prong plug). So I have another one that will go down. I was able to split the screen very well, color was good for basic office tasks, email, Word, PDFs and some Photoshop work. I haven't looked into using the PnP features or running more than one device, so I can't comment on that.
